It’s been a busy couple of months over on my side of the keyboard. Day job has been keeping me busy with plenty of challenging work — and I’ve kept myself busy putting the finishing touches on some apps. Which, I have done.
On Five of them, actually.
Sure, AI was in the mix. But these weren’t summoned from a single prompt. Months of development, QA, testing, UI/UX decisions, and more than a few late nights staring at error messages. I built tools I actually needed, because nothing else did what I needed done.
Voxtext — Takes your audio or video and transcribes it to .txt, .srt, .vtt, and more. Free to download for Windows and Mac.
Voxsmith — Your PowerPoint speaker notes, automatically narrated with ElevenLabs and attached directly to your slides. Windows and Mac.
VoxPrep — The buttons we wish PowerPoint had. Deck splitting, notes import/export (yes, even on large decks), find and replace in notes, media extraction, and more. Windows only.
Pathsmith — A knowledge conduit. Takes your Office documents, converts them to Markdown for sharing with your team, and exports to HTML for Confluence.
TPC — The app I had to build to build the other apps. Git and the command line weren’t compatible with my workflow, so I fixed that.
The first three are live and ready at voxsmith.app. The other two are coming later this year.
