A while ago I connected this site to ActivityPub so it would be federated and discoverable on the nerdier side of the internet. It was neat, let me share directly to Mastodon and all that goes with that. Which, of late, has become problematic.
I’m no longer really sharing at Mastodon and have removed Ivory from my home screen. I’m not boycotting Mastodon, I just no longer feel welcome. Most of the people that I follow are increasingly anti AI. Meanwhile, I’m over here solving big problems and creating really cool stuff using AI. I want to talk about it, but I don’t want to talk about it where it’s not welcomed.
