I’ve been having fun over here, doing all of the things that I tell everyone not to do when they are a podcaster. And that is not building new WordPress themes, from scratch, relearning and using HTML5 and CSS. No. You are not supposed to be doing that.
We completely understand that you have forgotten how much you enjoyed building themes. The problem is that you kinda get a little hyper focused while you are doing that and, well, you see, you don’t get podcast stuff done. And tomorrow, you are supposed to have podcast stuff done.
Silliness aside, it’s been a very fun week! Recorded a new episode of White Roof Radio and expect to be posting Black Roof tomorrow. And, as you probably gathered from before, I have started back on my bullshit, building a WordPress theme, which you might have remembered this blog being all about the WordPress dev life, way way back in the day.
Tomorrow is the History of Podcasting that I recorded with Evo Terra and Chuck Tomasi. It’s really inside baseball, but it’s really fun. I’m really excited to finally get to share it. That will be later in the day, but I will get it posted!
Oh, the new theme is going to be very cool. Very minimalist, very simple. I’m pretty excited and hope to launch it next week!
