why I still need Windows

(Or, how do I get my music on Ubuntu)

Diggin’ Ubuntu. Really. Like, I wouldn’t mind having this as my main O/S on my main PC, instead of relegating it to the PIII.

But…

I’m pretty sure most of you haven’t looked into this, but the more popular music purchasing outlets aren’t available for the linux platform.

iTunes? Nope
Yahoo! Music? Nope
MusicMatch? Nope

Therein lies the problem. I actually pay for the Yahoo! service (yea, ok, so I’m an idiot for renting music. Sue me). I also pay for MM and iTunes is my main music store.

So, if I do put ‘nix on my main PC, guess I’ll have to dual boot. That kinda sucks.
