So, you know that I’m a pretty big fan of the show. Well, not as much as this guy, but pretty close.
But there is a problem. I’m thinking that the sales department over there at Bravo are having a hard time filling time. I say this because every commercial break include no less than 2 commercials for either Queer Eye, Celebrity Poker or Inside the Actors studio. Now, these are all fine shows (well, almost, more in a minute), do I need to be reminded about them every 7.5 minutes? Why not just the top and bottom of the hour? I think that the air time used for the in-house commercials might be better spent earning a bit more income for the channel, but that’s just me. Some cool IBM or HP spots? How about bringing out the funny beer commericals? Anything would be better than the same old commercials over and over and over again. I’m just sayin…
Did manage to finally catch my first episode of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy last week. While I’m not going to go so far as to say the show sucked, I will tell you that it wasn’t for me. It was a bit to *over-the-top* for my liking. The part that I hated the most? Yea, that lame assed soundtrack that mindlessly repeats for…the…enitire…length…of…the…show. Ugh. But, what do I know, I watch Monster Garage on a relatively regular basis.
Oh yea, tonights 11PM West Wing was a great one! If you missed it, I’m pretty sure they repeat tomorrow at 7.
