Take that!

Checking the server logs this morning and I’m actually pleased with what I’m seeing:

A reduction in traffic!

But, not really. while my logs, comments and trackbacks here and there (well, probably here too) aren’t getting hammered, my 401, 403 and 404 pages are getting a total workout. From the logs:
w(t)f

403 — 1009 hits (71.9% of traffic)
404 — 256 hits (17.2% of traffic)

dbmini

403 — 1139 (61.2% of traffic)
404 — 432 (23.2% of traffic)
401 — 214 (11.5% of traffic)

I’d say that my .htaccess rules and wordpress plug-ins are really doing the job. I’ll start going through and make those available for download if you would like to give them a try.
