something new
During the week I try to post useful information or something that is at least good to read.

But, for the weekends I’d like to try something new. Something fun. Something that is kinda interactive. Need an hour or so to kill on a Saturday or Sunday? I’ve got just the thing.

Build-Your-Own-Movie-Soundtrack (BYOMS).

It’s simple. I’m going to give you a genre (movie type) and you come up with your movie soundtrack. The rules are simple:

  • no more than 15 songs
  • has to be a real band (no flaming kittens of death)
  • the song has to be readily available on any download service (mp3.com, iTunes, Napster, p2p) or CD from a real live record store.
  • at least 1 of the songs has to have a fair amount of radio play (need to have that HOT single)

Come up with your list and post it on your blog and link back in the comments.

    This weeks genre: Action/Adventure

Here’s my list (think car chase type movie ala the Italian Job, Gone is 60 Seconds, etc…)

    1. Busy Child – The Crystal Method
    2. Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous – Good Charlotte
    3. The Struggle Within – Metallica
    4. Red Light-Green Light – Limp Bizkit
    5. On Fire (Remix) – Tone-Loc
    6. Boom – P.O.D.
    7. Trust me – Jesus Jones
    8. Wicked and Weird – Buck 65
    9. Bullet the Blue Sky – U2
    10. Big Sky – Revered Horton Heat
    11. Black Sheep – Trik Turner
    12. How Soon is Now – The Smiths
    13. Never Let Me Down Again (Aggro Mix) – Depeche Mode
    14. Love Removal Machine – The Cult
    15. Song 2 – Blur

Ok, your turn. And pass it on!
