Things I’m tired of hearing
Lately there have been things going around teh intarwebs that I’m tired of reading about. For your reading pleasure, I present you with the list.
- The iPhone
No kidding. The fanboys have latched on to this one something fierce. While I’m sure it’s going to be a nifty device, they are acting like it’s going to be the greatest thing since free internet porn. Going out on a limb here, but it’s probably going to get worse after the
damn thing comes out.
- The DRM in the non-drm tracks.
In case you haven’t heard, the new iTunes Plus tracks are DRM free. You can even convert them to mp3 if you want. But, each track is still tagged with your account information, just like the DRM’d tracks are. You know what, I don’t care. I don’t share my music on p2p sites so I have nothing to worry about. While I’m at it, I really hate DRM as much or more than the next guy, but I’m getting tired of hearing about it as well. WE all know it doesn’t work, but the record companies can’t seem to figure that out. It’s annoying.
- People that don’t like the new MINI
This one is getting seriously out of control. The haters are calling those that like or buy the new car names on the boards and even at MF. It really makes no sense.
I’m sure there is more, but we’ll start with this.
The thing I very much hate about those items above? The fact that people can only seem to complain. Very seldom do you see anyone doing anything about it. Granted, in most cases, there isn’t anything that can be done, so maybe complaining is the only way to go. But honestly, can it all stop? Now would be a great time.
