Recipe Recap

I’ve been posting recipes for a while now. By my count, it’s almost a solid dozen of them, not including quite a few tips. dinner

I’m fairly certain at least one of you has tried at least one of the recipes. I also know that at least 1 of you has taken some of my tips into your kitchen.

But what about the rest of you?

I’m curious to see if anyone has tried to prepare any of the recipes that I have posted. If you did, what was the outcome? Was something missing? Did it (gasp) suck?Cilantro Chicken with Carmelized Mushrooms

Recipes are new to me. I don’t use them normally and usually don’t keep track of the things I make. In fact, over the last 15 years, I’ve only saved 1 dish that I prepared in recipe form. It was an awesome Chili Colorado that, oddly enough, I have since lost the recipe for.

I usually just start in the kitchen and make what I have. Or I get an idea while I’m driving or at the gym or sitting here working on something. There used to be a show on FoodTV called Ready, Set, Cook or something like that. You remember, right? It was 1 person from the audience with 3 ingredients paired up with a pro chef and a pantry to see what could be made. Start here again

That’s how I cook.

If you have tried them, or even if you are thinking about trying any of them, let me know!

Or maybe you have a request? Looking for a new way to use those diced tomatoes in the pantry? Or you want to get rid of the left over grilled chicken breast in the fridge? You can ask those in the comments as well and I will do my best!

Hey DB, we just tried the Hobo Mash recipe tonight for dinner. Changed it up a little bit on the fly, added some pepper, a dash of paprika and some parsley to the mix. We put it over some “Spelt” pasta (Whatever that is??) Turned out pretty tasty dude, thanks :-)

Your beer butt chicken inspired me this past Friday upon buying the new grill.
