Some notes

Just to jot down a few things really quick…

So far, the lad + high school = teh awesome!
All homework turned in? Check! Excitement and enthusiasm? Check! Wanting to participate in high school games? Check! (going to try out for the swim team, plus has been doing ‘spirit’ stuff)

Anyway, the motivation seems to be helping. Oh, I didn’t tell you about that did I? My bad.

Since he can’t get a job (yet), school is his job. For which he will even receive compensation.

A = $50 B = $30 C = 0 D or lower cancels out any A

he even has the possibility to receive an incentive bonus. If he pulls straight A’s on his first report card in highschool, he stands to receive his normal amount, plus the difference to get a 30GB iPod. Yes, very generous, I know. I just want to make sure he keeps the motivation going. I mean, after the worst 3 school years I’ve ever seen, I don’t think I could handle a repeat of that.

Besides that, I have a feeling that I am about to be very busy. There are a few things working behind the scenes toward that end. Not that I mind being busy, but sometimes it is possible to be too busy (read: stretched too thin). Only time will tell.

Oh yea, new BNL is coming out soon. I’ve heard the first 3 tracks and it’s pretty good stuff, if you like that kind of thing. Was groovin’ to Gordon on my drive in today. What a fantastic album!
