Something different for dinner last night.
Everything picked up from Trader Joes and Costco. Here is what you’ll need.
Salami prosciutto Provolone Cheese Pesto Tomato (or not) Lavash Bread (about 12″ x 8″ sheet) Parmesan Cheese
On 1/2 of the bread, spread 2 tbls of pesto, followed by 2 slices of Provolone, 3 prosciutto strips, 6 salami slices, 6 tomato slices and Parmesan cheese. Fold in 1/2 and grill, 2 minutes per side or until cheese gets hot and gooey.
Nice additions would be thin sliced red or yellow onion, chopped artichoke hearts, roasted bell pepper, cooked spinach, sub sun dried tomato for fresh, or anything else you might find on an anti pasto tray. You could also sub mozzarella cheese for the provolone.
Drink selection? I’d stick with a nice dry white wine, chianti or a beer that runs a little on the sweet side (Newcastly, Bass Ale).
