Driving home from errands today I see the flashing red lights of a school bus ahead. I prepare to stop, since that is what you are supposed to do when you see a school bus with flashing red lights. But the lights keep getting closer and closer, and at a rate much faster than it should have been.
Upon closer inspection, the bus was moving with flashing red lights. And it was empty.
My question then is, if a school bus is moving with it’s flashing red lights, do I still have to stop?
I didn’t ’cause I figured the bus driver went over her coffee and doughnut allocation for the day and just spaced it.
