And, oddly enough, I decide to talk about personal security and keeping your identity safe. I have no idea where I got the idea.

I noticed that this company http://www.lifelock.com/ will protect your identity for a fee. What is your opinion? Have they made Ortega Hwy. any safer?

Yea, that guys social was actually hacked last week. So, not really sure how comfortable I am having them ‘keeping me safe’.
They are still working on Ortega hwy. Actually making the a 3 mile section on the Orange County side less curvelinear (their words, not mine) and widening the road. Not sure it will be any safer until they can figure out a way to get the asshat drivers and knucklehead motorcyclists off the road tho. Some people drive that road in less than intelligent ways.
