Out and about tonight at my local Target. Wow, that looks weird. Local Target. You see, my Target just opened about 2 months ago. It’s pretty cool, especially since I really like that store.
Anyway, in the store getting the items I require. Head up to the checkstands to pay for my goods and get outta dodge, ya see.
Where I wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
I was only the 3rd person in line too.
First of all, I must say that I believe they were harnessing the power of the sun to heat the store to well over 100 degrees. Man, it was hot.
Next up? Homeboy got stuck in the checkstand with the broken conveyor. Lovely.
Finally? Homeboy was the slowest moving person I have ever seen. I can’t even describe how slow he was moving. Like molasses running up a sandy hill in January. No, scratch that, February. So I start watching the others.
Oh. My. God.
It was like the store was being run by slow moving robots. They all had the same movement and worked at the same speed setting, I’m sure it was set to .1.
It’s XMAS gang. I know you have to hire retards to fill in, but really, if you paid them more than $3 per hour, I’m sure you could get a little bit more productivity out of them.
I’m just sayin’.

I know what you mean, at the fairly new mall in El Centro the JC Penny has had some great deals but there is maybe two cashiers in the whole place. You might save $50 on your clothes but its costs three times that in your time to queue up and pay for it.
