I love me that Costco.
For those of you not familiar with Costco (have you been living under a rock for the last 10 years?), no scratch that. Do a Google search or check the wiki. No time for hand holding today my friends. No sir.
Anyway, as I was saying, I love Costco.
Great prices, quality products and a clean store equals win win to me. Ok, so there are times when I really don’t need 9 dozen pens or 2 gallons of mayo, but who cares! At the prices they usually have for items, even if I only use half of a container before it goes bad, I’m still saving money!
But really, I don’t go for grocery items. Why? Oh no, first, you must jump.
I mean, sure I get some grocery items, but not too many. While I’m all about saving a few bucks, I just can’t stand to through away food, or have more on hand than I will ever use. What’s keen is when I can go with either Sis or Mom and then we split things up. 8 pack cans of soup, 2 pack bottles of mustard, stuff like that.
What I really go for is the meat department. Very good quality, huge cuts and great prices. The best part is I do, in fact, own a food saver vacuum packing device, so I can buy as much meat as I have freezer space for. Much like I did today.
That, my friends, is a freezer full of meat! Oh, and some items from my other favorite food store, Trader Joes. But that will have to keep for another post.
Otherwise it’s been a hectic week. Y’all will find out about early tomorrow morning. There will be posts everywhere about what I have been talking about and we have been busy getting our ducks in a row for it. Plus, as I have already mentioned, I got the Mac back, so I’ve been hustling to get it set back up the way I like it, with all the apps I need. Once that’s done, I’ll make an image of the drive and tuck it away on the external hard drive on my desk.

Its probably my fault but I still can’t go directly from the rss listing in google reader to the post. I get a whole bunch of WP errors.

Costco is dangerous! One time I went there while I was hungry and left with $150 worth of “food” (in quotations because one can hardly argue that 5 lbs of cream cheese is food).
