Or, at least, how I think I’ll be doing it from now on. Lets start with the setup. The only thing I needed to do to my PC was:
- Add a soundcard
- Add a jumper from soundcard #1 – Speaker out to soundcard #2 – mic in
this is what I did:
- Plug mic into #1 soundcard
- Plug headset speakers into #2 soundcard
- Run patch cable from speaker out on #1 to mic in on #2
- Set software to record from #2
After some adjustments in PodProducer the recording actually came out great without the dreaded echo on the callers side!
