Yep, Finally got it and have been playing with it for about 2 hours now. Lets start with a photo.
Click through for the full size if you want. 3.2MP means 2048 x 1536. Not to shabby, not too shabby at all.
Not ever using a BlackBerry or Jesus Phone before, I’m sure I will have a little bit of ‘getting used to it’ time, but so far I think it’s pretty cool.
Entering contacts is easy. Making a call is easy and call quality is as good as any other VZ phone I’ve used. Bonus making a conference call is a snap requiring 3 button presses. SWEET!
The web browser works pretty well I think. It doesn’t like some text boxes and doesn’t play flash video so far as I can tell, but every site I’ve viewed so far seems to render correctly. Navigation is a little odd, as is the zoom/unzoom/select, but again, SINTGUT.
Video is next. Watch for that shortly. Go ahead and ask any questions you might have now and I will find out the answers.

very cool db…i’m glad you were able to snag one of these. one of the first phones i’ve been envious of in a while. what does the verizon data plan look like (if you don’t mind me asking)?

VZ charges $30 a month for unlimited data. If I want to tether it it’s another $20 or $30. That’s for unlimited (or whatever VZs version of that is).
I’ve never used it for more than a few days so I don’t know if there is a cap.
