Circuit City… (insert polite term for “Sucks” here) When I was living in Huntsville I received an online customer survey from them and called it the “Wal-Mart” of electronics stores.

I thought Windows 7 was already leaked? There was an article on Slashdot about it the other day, so it must have happened a while ago ("You know what I like about Slashdot? If a big news story happened two days ago, and I forgot about it, Slashdot posts about it two days later to remind me")

Predicting Mac Mini and iMac revisions, new iWork and iLife possibly, but not a huge chance, and predicting that whatever gets announced, DB will get annoyed with us talking about it a whole bunch on Twitter.

Predicting that I will continue going to Best Buy over Circuit City, even though Best Buy is four miles away and Circuit City I can quite literally see from my apartment window. This will not bode well for them.

And just to round 'em all up, this year we'll see the Mac Tablet, the iPhone Shuffle, the Zune Phone, the Loch Ness monster, and 2009 will be the year of Linux.

Welcome mike! I've been enjoying listening to you over the years at wwr. Sounds like you have a good sense of humor (and a decent bowling game according to your twitter).

Here are my tech predictions: Apple will revamp the mac mini, macbook pro 17", and introduce a smaller iphone at macworld. Also, Steve Jobs will step down this year meaning I'll have to dump what few shares of AAPL I own ASAP.

I believe Blu Ray players will drop down to the $150 mark (big names, not memorex for God's sake).

I think Best Buy will do quite well as people have little to no idea how marked up their inventory is. Circuit City will bite the dust. Blockbuster will become online only.

A leaked copy of Windows 7 will make it into the wild and people will realize that it is not their savior from Vista and it too will suck hard.

Hi Michael! I didn’t realize that you were… well, you, lol. You’ve been doing a great job over @ WRR btw. I actually “Made the list” as well and since I’ve been designated “Head Cook” I’ll just warn you now… don’t eat the soup

As for Tech predictions; I predict that top-end graphics cards will remain out of my price range.

Stand alone Blu-Ray players will still struggle to compete with the PS3 (for at least the next year). And the iPhone shuffle will be a BIG hit… until New Year’s 2010 when they all die inexplicably.
