Yes, Microsoft’s new Zune digital music player is just plain dreadful. I’ve spent a week setting this thing up and using it, and the overall experience is about as pleasant as having an airbag deploy in your face.

So then I guess it’s not just a tweaked Toshiba Gigabeat like people originally thought but instead something a bit more craptacular…
Now if they stayed with something more like they Gigabeat they might have done ok… The Gigabeat was favored higher than the latest iPod by Veronica Belmont over at CNet, and she’s a huge Apple fangirl…
