I Want You!

And no, not to want me. But thanks for getting that stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

My seemingly never ending idea stream has brought another possible new feature here at donburnside.com. This feature would very much require your participation.

In an effort to add the title social to this site, I would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to any of you to contribute to the site as a guest editor.

There isn’t any money or fame. No health benefits or 401K either, but it would be a great opportunity to stretch those writing muscles. Or share some kick-ass photography with a little wider audience. Or even video.

If you are even vaguely familiar with Wordpress (like, you just read the word Wordpress right now) and would like to share your user-generated content with the donburnside.com audience, let me know! Examples of what I would be looking for can be found after the jump.

  • Technology reviews, thoughts or critism. Quoting of other sites is allowed as long as links to the original article are included.
  • Personal anecdotes or funny stories that you have written.
  • Photographs that you have taken. Hosted on Flickr or SmugMug (or other photo sharing site) is required.
  • Video that you have created about anything. Less than 15 minutes in length.

No schedules. No deadlines. Just whenever you have an idea or something to share feel free to post it. Yes, you will be posting your own stuff, but that’s part of the fun!

Still interested? Contact me to get started.
