Well, not me personally for Christmas, but ok in the eyes of teh lad, and that’s the most important part. Oddly enough, his Mom did pretty ok by him too. And so did the ‘rents and the grand ‘rents. His take for the day:
- 1 bonafide kick-ass multimedia chair. No really, this thing is seriously bitchen. Plugs into the Xbox or his shuffle or whatever and totally surrounds you with sound. Halo2 almost made me barf in this chair.
- Digital camera. Just a Kodak easy share, but it takes descent pictures and it’s super simple to use. Oh yea, toss in a 128MB card and a snazzy case.
- New stereo. 5 disk, plays mp3’s, am/fm and all that. The cool part is that it connects to his pc via usb. He can roll through his iTunes with a remote and 150w of power!
- 2 pretty cool shirts
- 2 pairs of pants that fit horribly. Exchanged for cables for the chair and stereo
- $140 cash money!
- Glow in the dark saucer shooter. Makes all kinds of annoying sounds, but the discs look like tracers when they are shot owt at night
I got a French press for my coffee ’cause that’s how I roll (and I’m a coffee snob like that), a bit of cash and a Starbucks gift card.
Nothing was stolen from the house or destroyed this either as an added bonus. Maybe next year I’ll feel better about this holiday. Perhaps a change of scenery next time around might do me some good.
Oh yea, and for those of you just reading this, I made some layout changes. Nice and clean, nothing to make any fuss over.
So, loot wise, how’d y’all do?
