I know what I said in my last post, but I will share one of my goals with you on this eve of the new year.
I started this year, I think, at around 300lbs.
I’m starting the next year at 255lbs.
I was hoping for 250. I know it’s only 5lbs, but I was close. Damn close. My scale actually read 253 the week of Christmas, but I couldn’t get to the gym at all that week, and Christmas food beat my will power 2:1. I know I will probably see 250 in about another week or so if I keep hitting the gym regular.
Ah, yes, but my goal. By the time I’m officially an ‘old guy’ (hey, old guys rule!) in 162 days I want my scale to tell me 220lbs. that’s 30lbs in 5 months and 10 days. Totally doable I think. Should be expecially easy since my gym is now 5 miles closer. Just opened a few days ago and I’m just crazy enough to start using it as early as tomorrow!
There are a few more, but I’m going to keep them to myself.
I would like to end this year with a quick thanks to all y’all for dropping by. And leaving comments. And checking out my photos. And providing feedback. And helping with stupid Mac stuff. And making me laugh. Especially the making me laugh part. You guys are awesome! Ok, you gals are pretty keen too.
Hope you had a great night and here’s to an even better 2008!

Of course, I shouldn’t talk, what with a 12-pack of the same suds in my fridge.
