Christmas Music

In a feeble attempt at getting the Christmas Spirit (and keeping with my strange obsession in creating lists lately), I have:

  • Hung Christmas Lights
  • Started production of this years Christmas Music CD
  • Putting a Tree up, hopefully tonight

Hopefully the smell of the tree will help. The music isn’t. The lights aren’t. This year is worse than last year in feeling the spirit. I even donated toys this year. Still no luck.

But, the CD did turn out quite kick ass! Here is the list:

  1. Carol of the Bells (Large Acappella Chorus) — John Williams
  2. Winter Wonderland — Brian Setzer Orchestra
  3. Jingle Bells/Have … Merry Christmas — Diana Krall
  4. The Nutcracker Suite — Brian Setzer Orchestra
  5. Frosty The Snowman — Harry Connick Jr.
  6. Boogie Woogie Santa Claus — Brian Setzer Orchestra
  7. Mele Kalikimaka — Nick Hexum
  8. Gotta Be Good — Chris Isaak
  9. Merry Christmas Baby — B.B. King
  10. Honky Tonk Christmas — Alan Jackson
  11. Sleigh Ride — Brian Setzer Orchestra
  12. My Favorite Things — Tony Bennett
  13. (Everybody’s Waitin’ For) the Man with the Bag — Brian Setzer Orchestra
  14. Santa Claus is Coming to town — Rosemary Clooney
  15. Frosty the Snowman — Glenn Miller
  16. Blue Christmas — Harry Connick Jr.
  17. Let it Snow — Chris Isaak
  18. Rudolph (yes, again) — Jack Johnson
  19. The Christmas Song — Ray Charles
  20. Auld Lang Syne — Beach Boys

I’ll try to get the iTunes list up later today, but some of the song I did not get from iTunes, so the list might not be complete.

There are still a few more days until Christmas…maybe I’ll feel it before then.

But I’m not counting on it
