Not sure if I told y’all about this, but Amazon is having a great sale on MP3 downloads. I think it might only be going until the end of the week, so you might want to jump in on it!
That’s how I found about about the album linked below by Vampire Weekend. It’s very quirky but very good. Follow the link above (or below for you Safari users) to preview the album, especially the song Bryn. Good stuff that I think you will like.
Don’t forget the cool thing about Amazon MP3s is that there isn’t any DRM! That means you can use the music anyway you like, including on a non-iPod MP3 player like the BlackBerry Storm.
Oh, and the sale. Click here to check out 50 mp3 albums selling at $5 each!

Vampire Weekend is wicked! Also picked up Akon’s new album for $3.99 (today only). Yesterday I got Kanye West and the Killers. Can you tell I’m going through a pre-mid life identity crisis? I turn 27 in January. Help.

You? I got the new Killers, Vampire Weekend, Death Cab and Stereo Lab. And I turn 41 in June.

Huh, I got Joan as Police Woman and Joe Jackson, but then I am 43 in just 11 days. 10 if you are on the east coast!

@Paul, I’m only 25, but I’ll listen to Joe Jackson any time.

@Joshua but you also listen to Barry Manilow, which is to say that you listen to more old people music that Paul or I.
I’m just sayin’.

Just one song, and I only downloaded it the other day. The one that goes “I love you baaaaaaybeeeee, if it’s quite alright” etc.

Not sure how to break this to you, but that’s not Barry Manilow man. Someone slipped you a Sonny & Cher instead.
Don’t worry, it can happen to the best of us. Just need to keep your guard up a little better and be more careful with the company that you keep. Damn hippies!
