The debates

Blah blah blah blah blah, blahblahblah, blaaah blaaah blaaah. It’s not that I care, but when it’s as scripted and choregraphed as it is, I just can’t get excited about it. I mean, I think I’d almost rather watch the last 45 seconds of an NBA play-off game. You know, when it takes 3 hours to finish and you get to watch nothing but 5 seconds of play, 45 seconds of the teams standing around, the obligatory shot of the coach and then 2-3 minutes of the same commercials that you have been seeing for the first 3+ quarters of the game.

To jazz ‘em up, like the NBA, the candidates need some cheerleaders. Not some skanky teeth missing ho’s neither. I’m talking rockin’ hotties sportin’ mad racks yo!

Yea. Boobs.

Only in CA

Would the fact that Starbucks is increasing prices approx. 5% make headline news. No, not a mention at the end of the broadcast, but the 3rd or 4th story in.

Sure, it’s a big deal. My latte is going to go up about $.15, but I mean really, it is only $.15! If I were to go to Starbucks everyday (which I don’t), this price increase would mean that I am going to have to spend $54.75 more than I did last year. Yea, I’m not worried.

Should the day ever come where I start to sweat about $.15, someone please shoot me.

IE still sucks

Another project. Another couple of hours wasted reaseaching CSS fixes for IE/WIN. Do I really have to support this?

Couldn’t I instead just make a splash page that made all users that are viewing in IE download Firefox?

According to google, there are approx. 72,500 pages that mention IE CSS bugs. ugh. This is really turning into a pain in my arse.

Comment Moderation

It would appear that a comment spammer has nothing better to do today than spam my comments. For that reason, until further notice, all comments will be moderated. [edit] After 19 attempts at spamming my blogs, I finally got the mother f’er blocked.
I will be turning off comment moderation, for now. [/edit]

Thank you!

Spam, again

Check my gmail account for non-existant activity tonight turns up 134 messages in my spam box. And, every single one of them was for some product to help improve my sex life. Obviously the spammer didn’t read this post in which I state:

d.) Try to sell me something that *won’t* improve my boner.

No kidding. Every single email was exactly the same. Not kinda the same. Not almost the same. All exactly the same message, repeated 134 times.

Oh yea, and there was one there to help me improve traffic to w(t)f. I don’t need more than 7 readers, so I’m going to pass on that one too.
