Are you one of those freaks? Don’t lie.
If you are, can you possibly tell me why you need reduced carb milk? Or soda? Or beer?
After you sit there chowing down on cheese with a side of cheese, how do you feel?
Reduced carb beer? You know, life is really too short.
I’m all about having a good diet and being healthy and all, but to completely remove carbohydrates from your diet is just plain crazy. Root veggies are good for you. Fruits are good for you! I’d bet that if you asked your doctor which is better for you and something you should continue to eat on a regular basis:
1. Plate of fruit
2. Plate of cheese
I’d bet he’d vote for the plate of fruit.
Did you hear about the guy in the news whose arteries are almost completely clogged after following an atkins diet? All of the fat. I can practically hear your arteries clogging from here.
Do you know how atkins really died? He slipped and hit his head on the sidewalk, didn’t recover from the coma. Do you know why he slipped? LOW BLOOD SUGAR because he didn’t eat his carbs!
Reduced carb milk? C’mon now. That’s just silly. Time to have an apple and move along.
You all know that I am a big support of the Mozilla Firefox browser, right? Been using it for a few months now and it’s great!
I have also been toying with T Bird, which is the new Mozilla email client. I’ve been using MS products for a very long time for email, it serving my needs quite nicely, thankyouverymuch. I started using tbird on my laptop to start with, to get used to it. This process took a bit longer than getting used to Firebird/Firefox, but it has been worth it.
Thunderbird does everything a descent email client is supposed to do:
~Supports multiple email accounts
~Supports filters
~Built-in Spellchecking
AND, what is probably the best feature
~Built-in junk mail filtering, that actually works!
Yes, you read that correctly. Junk mail filtering built into the email client that works. It has to learn what you think junk mail is, but after about a day it’s working great and continues to improve as you continue to teach it!
Also, like the Fire browser, Tbird doesn’t hook into windows like OE or Outlook, which means that the chances of firing off a virus infected email is greatly reduced. Norton AV also recognizes it and scans email to make sure as well.
If you are tired of using either Outlook’s for email, then this would be worth the download!
I do try to get out and about in blog world as often as possible. At the very least I try to read all that are listed on the side there at least once a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I use the side list as my blog bookmarks.
Now, my question is for those of you that have hundreds of links in your sidebar. I know much of that is link love, but how many of those are you really reading? And, if you are reading all of them, how are earth do you have the time? RSS feeds probably help out quite a bit there, but still.
Lets say that you have 100 blogs listed. Lets also say that you check every one of them daily via RSS. And you are a fast reader, so you can get up-to-date on each one in about a minute. By my super duper calculations, that is 100 minutes everyday that you are using to read blogs. I don’t have an extra 100 minutes in my day to do anything, so I applaud you for this monsterous task!
But what happens if you miss a day? or go on vacation for a week without :gasp: an internet connection :/gasp:? Do you come back and spend a full day getting caught up?
Plus you still post and keep your blog current, +/- 3 days. Again I must applaud you. My head constantly fills with things that are post-worthy, but either the thoughts are forced out by something else that is more important, or I just don’t have the time to post.
Either way, you are a superior blogger! Here’s to you, super blogger person, reader of the blogs and poster of the wacky links. You are the reason Bud Light is still around and it’s only a matter of time until you get mentioned in one of the radio commericals!
You have to check this out! weirdness all around
sometime last night the server hiccup’ed and windthefrog was moved into the wrong dir. It has since been corrected.
For your patience I show you some fog pics again:
