I was going to post from Denver, but can you belive I had more word to do? Bummer no free wifi there. Oh well, since I worked, it means billable time, so that will cover that.
Flight out of Denver to KC kinda sucked. It was a pretty rough ride out of Denver, which I presume is kinda normal based on the way the pilot was talking. Then, flying into KC it was about 95 degrees, which made the landing like riding a roller coaster. Again, not terribly fun, but it would appear I’m no worse for wear.
Went to grab my bad from the baggage carosel. Todd was already there to pick me up, so we just chatted and watched. And watched. And watched. Yea, my bags were lost. Figures that the only airline (United) that uses the ‘state-of-the-art’ baggage system at DIY looses my luggage. Not just mine, but the luggage of about 6 other people. Actually, to tell the truth, my luggage wasn’t lost, but put on a flight that landed about 2 hours after mine did. At least they delivered it to me. Too bad it was 7 hours after I landed. Oh well.
That’s it. I’m in KC, leaving for St. Louis tomorrow sometime and I’ll be back next Monday.
