Imagine if you will a video box below. That is where my short video review of the phone was going to go. But then I started reading the internets. Oh my.
Crackberry.com actually has a link to the updated software, .75, for the Storm that cures many of the issues with the accelerometer, among others. The even posted a video to show the differences. I only wish I could get it.
Then, I look over to BGR and they already have the next rev, .76. According to their report it actually improves things over .75.
Since I don’t want to install the BlackBerry stuff in Windows because my Windows is running like crap, looks like I’m waiting for OTA updates. After the updates come in, watch for a complete review.

A few more notes about the BlackBerry Storm. So it’s known, I am totally diggin’ this phone.

Not the greatest, but not teh suck either I don’t think.

Yep, Finally got it and have been playing with it for about 2 hours now. Lets start with a photo.
Click through for the full size if you want. 3.2MP means 2048 x 1536. Not to shabby, not too shabby at all.
Not ever using a BlackBerry or Jesus Phone before, I’m sure I will have a little bit of ‘getting used to it’ time, but so far I think it’s pretty cool.
Entering contacts is easy. Making a call is easy and call quality is as good as any other VZ phone I’ve used. Bonus making a conference call is a snap requiring 3 button presses. SWEET!
The web browser works pretty well I think. It doesn’t like some text boxes and doesn’t play flash video so far as I can tell, but every site I’ve viewed so far seems to render correctly. Navigation is a little odd, as is the zoom/unzoom/select, but again, SINTGUT.
Video is next. Watch for that shortly. Go ahead and ask any questions you might have now and I will find out the answers.
For fear of this happening.
Yeah, well that side of humanity is rearing its ugly head again, as an employee perished when legions of crazed Black Friday shoppers blazed through the doors of a Long Island Walmart. The worker was an overnight store clerk who was simply trying to hold back the crowds before the doors officially opened at 5:00AM. According to Jimmy Overby, another employee at the store: “They took the doors off the hinges. He was trampled and killed in front of me.”
A problem I, or any employee of Amazon.com, would not have any day of the week as I sit in front of my computer.
